making fiberglass stringers (forms)
A separate topic to better document my string form mold...
I wanted to use fiberglass stringers in the rebuild of my formula project boat. This mold will be used to produce trapezoidal forms that will be placed into the boat to form a stringer/frame grid. Grid will then be covered with more glass (to reach their desired final thickness). Mold will be able to produce forms up to 24" tall. Top of the form is 5", so it is wide enough to run chase tubes through (cleans up the rigging ) Stringers will then be filled with expanding foam.
