I picked up a free 13" foot whaler the other day. I have been looking for one for a long time for my 13 year old son. We are in the process of grinding the heavily crazed gel coat and bottom paint off. I plan repair the damaged areas and  cover the bottom and sides with fiberglass. I'm not sure what material I should use. In the end I plan on painting with Quantum paint.
